# sk183288 - Log Exporter runs for a short time and then stops working

## Symptoms

- * Log Exporter runs for a short time and then stops working.

* *$RTDIR/log_indexer/log/log_indexer.elg* shows this error:   


  `LogsSender::Process send failed try number:10
  sendto:: Message too long
  SyslogUDPSender::sendPacket - failed to send packet: `|Check Point|Content Awareness...

## Cause

The log entry exceeds the maximum length that Log Exporter can process. This typically occurs when an archive contains a long list of files, resulting in one large log entry.

## Solution

This is a limitation.  
The following workaround can be applied. Please note it has impact on the Content Awareness enforcement.  

1. In SmartConsole, go to **Manage \& Settings** \> **Blades** \> **Content Awareness**.
2. Click on **Advanced Settings** .  
   The **Content Awareness Settings** window opens.
3. Disable **Inspect Archives**.

This will stop the detection of a large list of files as one log.
