# sk183242 - Domains IP's are not shown as aliases in clish & gaia api

## Symptoms

- * When using: "# mgmt_cli show alias-interfaces --version 1.6 --context gaia_api" on an MDS, it does not show binded domain interfaces as aliases. OR # clish -c "show interfaces" \| grep on an MDS, it does not show binded domain interfaces as aliases.
* Example: \[Expert@mine:0\]# ifconfig \| grep eth0 eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:56:89:9D:09 eth0:1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:56:89:9D:09 eth0:2 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:56:89:9D:09 \[Expert@mine:0\]# mgmt_cli show alias-interfaces --version 1.6 --context gaia_api Username: admin Password: objects: \[\] \[Expert@mine:0\]# clish -c "show interfaces" \| grep eth0 eth0

## Cause

When a domain is created, the alias is set on linux level, but it is not set as an alias in the DB.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:

1. [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92739) file from the Management Server involved in the case.
2. [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92739) file from the Security Gateway / each Cluster Member involved in the case.
