# sk183229 - Epson TM-S9000 USB printer is blocked

## Symptoms

- * Endpoint client blocks the virtual driver for Epsom.
* Communication to Com4 port using the Epson software and Windows print test
* Removed/ re-installed Epson TM-S9000 driver and Epson Virtual Port Driver gave the same results.

## Cause

Epson virtual printer port driver does not support kernel mode filter/client, which is used by Checkpoint Media Encryption \& Port Protection.
