## Symptoms

- When opening a link, Android asks whether to open it with Harmony Mobile Protect or a browser. If the user selects Always with Harmony Mobile Protect, the link does not open. Instead, the application continuously scans the link in a loop.

## Cause

When the user selects **Always** for **Harmony Mobile Protect**, Android sets the app as the default browser. The operating system redirects all URLs to the Protect app and creates a continuous scanning loop.

## Solution

If the user chooses the **Always** option:

1. Open App settings on the mobile device.
2. Go to the App settings for **Harmony Mobile Protect** application and remove the **Set as default** setting.

**Note**: The location of this setting may vary depending on the device manufacturer and OS version.
