# sk183195 - Gaia Portal on the Maestro Hyperscale Orchestrator shows "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" after login

## Symptoms

- After logging into the Gaia Portal on the Maestro Hyperscale Orchestrator, the portal displays this error message:
"`ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE`"

## Cause

A long role string from the RADIUS server causes a buffer overflow when the Gaia Portal loads.  

**Notes**:

* Long role strings are detailed attributes the RADIUS server provides during authentication, specifying user roles and privileges.
* A buffer overflow occurs when a program writes data to a buffer beyond the buffer's allocated memory, overwriting adjacent memory locations.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
