## Symptoms

- * Quantum Spark device becomes non-responsive and requires reboot to restore services.

* Low Disk Space on the Quantum Spark appliance.

* Noticeable slowness in UI responsiveness.

* Warning message from the Dr. Spark report: "*Warning: The following partitions are full: /storage partition.*"

## Cause

The `/storage` partition on the Quantum Spark / Gaia Embedded device is full, which results in the device becoming slow / non-responsive.

## Solution

Workaround:

* If the IPS storage is full, delete the *'/storage/ips/update/mgmt/'*directory.

* Check for unnecessary files under the `/storage `partition, such as 'memory script' (not part of the gateway itself) and manually delete them.

* Upgrade to version [R81.10.17](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk183153?server=us).
