## Symptoms

- Quantum Force Appliance 9000, 19000, 29000 with the 4-Port 10/25G SFP28 Acceleration Card (CPAC-4-10/25F-DA) installed crashes if the appliance is booted without the required Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator.

## Cause

Before installing the 4-Port 10/25G SFP28 Acceleration Card (CPAC-4-10/25F-DA) into the appliance, it is necessary to install the required Take of the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator.

**Problematic Scenario 1:**

1. Some Take of the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator is installed that is lower than the required Take, or the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator is not installed at all.
As a result, it does not contain the required software support for this Acceleration Card.
2. An administrator powers off the appliance.
3. An administrator installs the Acceleration Card.
4. An administrator powers on the appliance.

**Problematic Scenario 2:**

1. The required Take of the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator is installed.
2. The appliance and the Acceleration Card work as expected.
3. An administrator restores the appliance to factory defaults while the Acceleration Card is still installed.
4. The default R81.20 Gaia image does not contain the required software support for this Acceleration Card.

**Problematic Scenario 3:**

1. The required Take of the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator is installed.
2. The appliance and the Acceleration Card work as expected.
3. An administrator removes the required Take of the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator.
4. The default R81.20 Gaia image (or the Take of the R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator that is lower than the required Take) does not contain the required software support for this Acceleration Card.
