# sk183069 - SNMP Trap "asgTrapConnRate" configured in a Maestro Security Group sends "exceeds maximum threshold" false-positive reports

## Symptoms

- The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Trap "`asgTrapConnRate`" configured in a Maestro Security Group sends false-positive reports about the number of connections per second. These alerts incorrectly report that the number of connections per second "`exceeds maximum threshold"`.

## Cause

The SNMP Trap "`asgTrapConnRate`" returns the number of accumulated Firewall connections and not the number of connections per second. This discrepancy causes the false-positive alerts.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:
