## Symptoms

- After an upgrade from R81.10 to R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator Take 84, the Security Gateway blocks traffic based on the configured external Indicators of Compromise (IoC), but the Security Gateway does not generate a corresponding log in SmartConsole.

## Cause

When the Denial of Service (DoS) mitigation settings in SecureXL are configured like this:

`deny --set-enabled=0 or --enable-deny-list=0 `in the file `$FWDIR/conf/fwaccel_dos_rate_on_install`

then a log for the external IoC does not appear in SmartConsole.
