# sk182977 - How to Install Argos ERM App for Splunk

## Solution

**Prerequisites**   
Before installing the External Risk Management (ERM) Edge integration for Splunk application, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:  

* You must have a Splunk Enterprise or Cloud instance to install the application.
* Ensure that your Splunk Enterprise is version 8.0 or later.

**Installation** To install the ERM Edge Integration for Splunk application:  

1. Login to the **Splunk Enterprise** application.
2. In the **Apps** sidebar, click **Manage** .

3. In the **Apps** page that appears, click **Install app from file** at the top right corner next to the **Create app** .

4. In the **Upload app** page that appears, click **Choose file** and select the required application file, and click **Upload** .

5. After installing the application, click **Apps** in the menu bar and check for the new **ERM Edge Integration for Splunk** application.
