# sk182963 - Policy installation fails with:"Policy installation had failed due to an internal error"

## Symptoms

- * Policy installation on Security Gateway/VSX fails with: `"Policy installation had failed due to an internal error"`, creating a FWM core file on the Management Server. This error is associated with the execution exception "Process exited with an error: 139 (Exit value: 139)" logged in the `install_policy.elg` file.

* The file *$FWDIR/log/install_policy.elg* shows similar logs:

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
