## Symptoms

- * SmartConsole / SmartView shows this log from the Anti-Bot Software Blade:

  `Blade: Anti-Bot`

  `Type: System Alert`

  `Description: Error occurred while accessing:secureupdates.checkpoint.com`

  `Reason: RAD request exceeded maximum handing time, check /opt/CPSuite-<VERSION>/fw1///log/rad_events/Errors/flow_<XXX>_<XXX> For more details`
* The RAD error logs on the Security Gateway (`$FWDIR/log/rad_events/Errors/flow_<XXX>_<XXX>`) show these errors:

  `[rad_http_response_handler.cpp:XXX] CRadHttpResponseHandler::goToNextTask: [INFO] enter to ...
  `
  `
  `
  `
  [rad_response_task.cpp:XXX] CRadResponseTask::CRadResponseTask: [INFO] enter to ...
  `
  `
  `
  `
  [rad_decrypted_response_task.cpp:XXX] CRadDecryptedResponseTask::CRadDecryptedResponseTask: [INFO] enter to ...`

## Cause

Possible causes:

* The DNS servers that the Security Gateway uses fail to resolve the IP address of the Check Point server.
* The RAD "autodebug" feature causes the process to consume too many resources, which results in the error.
