# sk182809 - "__ib_cache_gid_add: unable to add gid XXXXXX error=-28" appears repeatedly in dmesg

## Symptoms

- Output of the "`dmseg` command shows this line repeatedly:

`__ib_cache_gid_add: unable to add gid <GID> error=-28`

Example:

`__ib_cache_gid_add: unable to add gid 0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:ffff:11f9:c203 error=-28`

## Cause

The driver of the 100G Acceleration Card shows this message when the link state changes while RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) packets pass through the Acceleration Card ports.
