# sk182740 - VoIP traffic latency through a VSX Gateway when SecureXL works in the User Space (UPPAK) mode

## Symptoms

- * VoIP calls are dropped, or suffer from significant delaysin this scenario:

  1. The Security Gateway works in the VSX mode.
  2. SecureXL works in the User Space (UPPAK) mode.
* CPU load on the Security Gateway is normal.

* Changing the SecureXL mode from User Space (UPPAK) to Kernel Space (KPPAK) resolves the issue.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:

* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R81.20/Default.htm) starting from Take 120
* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R81.10/Default.htm) starting from Take 173
