## Solution

### Smart-1 Cloud Services updatable object

A new updatable object, **Smart-1 Cloud Services** , is added. This object contains Check Point Smart-1 Cloud services domains for egress traffic. The recommended option is to use this updatable object in the rulebase to allow Smart-1 Cloud to forward logs traffic to an external log server (**Forward to SIEM** ).

### External FQDNs

Changed the Smart-1 Cloud service external FQDNs and their related IP addresses. It is important to use the new FQDNs in your policies.

### New FQDNs

* Canada: `ca-central-1.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`
* Ireland: `eu-west-1.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`
* N. Virginia: `us-east-1.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`
* Sydney: `ap-southeast-2.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`
* Mumbai: `ap-south-1.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`
* UAE: `me-central-1.allowed-ips.checkpoint.com`

**Important:** We recommend using FQDNs and not IP addresses because IP addresses can change.

**Check Point Public IP addresses and/or FQDNs can appear in these places:**

* Forward to SIEM feature (an additional Log Exporter).
* Public FQDNs and/or their IP addresses in your access rulebase/s.
* Mail alert script in SmartConsole (**Global Properties** \> **Log and Alert** \> **Alerts** \>**Run mail alert script**).

**Important:**

* If you are using an IP address, you must change it to the new FQDN based on your Smart-1 Cloud tenant region location.
* If you are using the old FQDN, you must update it to use the new FQDN based on your Smart-1 Cloud tenant region location.

**Notes:**

* The new FQDNs include the old IP addresses, so no impact is expected.
* The old IP addresses will gradually be deprecated and removed from the domain resolution.
* FQDNs were changed on 20 January 2025.
