# sk182688 - False Positives in Threat Emulation

## Symptoms

- High rate of false positive detections or preventions on files, starting 9/16/24 00:15 AM (GMT-4), until 9/16/24 9/16/24 14:45 PM (GMT-4)

## Cause

The malfunctioning *CustomIOC.XDR* *Feed.XDR.IOC.RDPWrap.\** update in the latest package was pushed to Threat Cloud, triggering protection for *RDPWrap.\** on legitimate files.   

As a result of Threat Cloud's collaborative nature, other Check Point products also blocked these incorrectly flagged files.

* Harmony Endpoint
* Harmony Mobile
* Infinity XDR/XPR
* Quantum Security Gateway - Anti-Virus and Threat Emulation
