## Symptoms

- * These logs are displayed in the */var/log/messages* file:

  `
  Global param: operation failed: Unknown parameter (param name cp_shmem_leak_detect)
  `
  `
  Global param: operation failed: Unknown parameter (param name fw_je_leak_detection_set)`

* <br />

  When you run HCP Test for "Memory Leak Kernel Parameters" you see this message:

  `
  Global param: operation failed: Unknown parameter (param name fw_je_leak_detection_set)`

## Cause

The kernel global parameters (*fw_je_leak_detection_set* and *cp_shmem_leak_detect*) are sent to all the kernel modules. The FWK module know the parameters, but the Firewall kernel module (fwmod) does not know them, and prints these logs.
