## Symptoms

- * The LOM card WebUI becomes unresponsive or does not open.

* The LOM card responds to pings.

* Output of the Expert mode command "`service ipmi status`" shows:

  ```
  
  ipmi_msghandler module loaded.
  ipmi_si module loaded.
  ipmi_devintf module loaded.
  /dev/ipmi0 does not exist.
  ```

## Cause

The appliance was booted from the Secondary BIOS.
