## Symptoms

- * Check Point appliance is stuck in a reboot loop.

* Console shows these messages during boot:

## Cause

The messages in the console show that the boot filesystem size is greater than the physical size of the device (partition).

Example:

1. `The filesystem size (according to the superblock) is `306176` blocks`
2. `The physical size of the device is `306112` blocks`

As a result, the filesystem repair (`fsck` command) fails, and the server restarts.
