# sk182509 - Security Gateway object in NAT policy rule is translated to unknown IP addresses

## Symptoms

- The Security Gateway translates the connection source/destination to an unknown IP address when the Gateway's object is in the NAT policy rule.

## Cause

When the Security Gateway object is in the NAT rule, the Firewall gets the Gateway's main IP address for the connection translation, while the source or destination in the connection is from a different subnet.
