## Symptoms

- DNS name resolution does not work for SSL Network Extender users after upgrading the Security Gateway to R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Take 53 or higher or R81.10 Jumbo Hotfix Take 139 or higher.

## Cause

DNS name resolution depends on correctly configured DNS suffixes. After the Security Gateway upgrade, these DNS suffix settings are not applied to the Virtual Network Adapter when connecting to the SSL Network Extender. As a result, hostnames that need these DNS suffixes for resolution cannot resolve correctly.
