# sk182383 - Threat Emulation blade on the Infinity Portal returns a "wrong api-key" error after the license update.

## Symptoms

- * The Threat Emulation blade on the Infinity Portal returns a `wrong api-key` error after the license update.
* After the expired license is deleted in the User Center account, the Infinity Portal continues to show this license with the expiration date set to 01/01/1970.

## Cause

After the expired license is deleted in the User Center account, the sync with the corresponding Infinity Portal Harmony Endpoint Tenant fails, and this expired license remains on the Infinity Portal either with its real expiration date or with an empty expiration date (translated to 01/01/1970 in the user interface).

The Threat Emulation cloud service strictly enforces license expiration. Thus, when the Threat Emulation blade tries to access the Cloud Emulation API, it fails to validate the license and returns a **`wrong api-key`** error.
