# sk182362 - Cannot disable the IPSec VPN blade

## Symptoms

- An attempt to disable the IPSec VPN blade fails with an error:   
**`Failed to save object [OBJECT_NAME]. `
` Server error is: Validation error in field 'Permanent Tunnel List' of element #231 at object [OBJECT_NAME] @ 'Communities' --> Validation error in field 'Gateway and its Peer List' of element #1 --> Validation error in field 'Gateway' --> The value 'NULL' is not in the list of valid values 'object_with_VPN' `
` (Code: 0x800415B1, Object contain invalid reference)`**

## Cause

The database of a star VPN community object is corrupted. When the system tries to save the new object state, corresponding validations fail with an error.
