## Symptoms

- * After renewing the license for the Threat Emulation appliance, the Threat Emulation Local may still display the expiration date of the trial license, show "`Never`", or indicate "`No License`" instead of reflecting the updated license information.

  <br />

* [TED debug](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk114806) (**tecli debug set TE all**) shows the following items in *$FWDIR/log/ted.elg* :

  ```
  [16837 4104607744][DATETIME] [TE (TD::All)] te::LogSender::SendContractMonitoringLog: local/remote mode, setting the license expiration date: 0
  [16837 4104607744][DATETIME] [TE (TD::All)] te::LogSender::SendContractMonitoringLog: calculate unified subscription_status: subscription_status = 2, subscription_description = 'Subscription has expired. No valid contract found. If you have a valid contract, go to "Update Contracts" tab on SmartUpdate in order to update the machine's contracts', cloud_subscription_status = 0, cloud_subscription_description = 'Cloud emulation is not used', final status = 2, final description = 'Subscription has expired. No valid contract found. If you have a valid contract, go to "Update Contracts" tab on SmartUpdate in order to update the machine's contracts'
  ```

* The output of "**`cplic print -x`** " only shows the expired contracts for "**CPSB-TEMU-SB-M-8VM-1Y**".

## Cause

The latest contract (i.e., **`CPSB-TEMU-SB-M-8VM-1Y`** ) for the Threat Emulation local blade is missing from the contract file.
