# sk182295 - Security Gateway drops non-H323 traffic as H323 service

## Symptoms

- * Security Gateway drops non-H323 traffic as H323 service.

* In Traffic capture on the Security Gateway's incoming and outgoing interfaces, you can see a SYN packet that enters and leaves it, but a SYN-ACK packet shows only on the incoming interface (the Security Gateway responds on behalf of the server).

* H323 is used in the rule base, not necessarily on the rule that drops the connection.

## Cause

The H323 built-in service in the SmartConsole matches the "Any" service.  
All occurrences of "Any" in the service column can match and enforce the inspection of H323.
