# sk182284 - ClusterXL commands return "Failed to load members object" error on a Scalable Platform Security Group in the Traditional VSX mode

## Symptoms

- * The "`cphaprob state`" command on a Scalable Platform Security Group in the Traditional VSX mode returns this error:

  `Failed to load members object`
* Setting the state of a Security Group Member with the command "`clusterXL_admin`" / "`g_clusterXL_admin`" fails with this error:

  `
  Failed to load members object`  
  `
  HA is not started
  `
* The state of a Security Group Member might not indicate an issue (the state is "ACTIVE").

## Cause

The value of the kernel parameter "`fwha_enable_state_machine_by_vs`" is set to `1`.

In non-Scalable Platform deployments, configuring VSX VSLS sets the value of this kernel parameter to `1`.

In Scalable Platform deployments in the Traditional VSX mode, the value of this kernel parameter must stay `0`.
