# sk182222 - Grafana dashboard does not report metrics for the standby cluster member

## Symptoms

- The Grafana dashboard does not report metrics for the standby cluster member. The issue does not occur on the active cluster member.
**Notes** :

* If you do a failover, the issue occurs on the other member.
* The address of the Prometheus server is a full domain, and/or the Prometheus server is located outside the network.

## Cause

Because of the way cluster communication operates, the traffic is redirected from the standby cluster member to the active cluster member. In such a scenario, including the DNS can cause a timeout in the OpenTelemetry mechanism, resulting in a traffic drop on Skyline.
