## Symptoms

- * Policy installation fails on a Maestro Security Group.

* CPD daemon constantly stops working in a Maestro Security Group

* There are core dump files for the CPD daemon in the `/var/log/dump/usermode/` directory on a Maestro Security Group.

* The `$CPDIR/log/cpd.elg` file on a Maestro Security Group shows that the CPD daemon constantly stops and starts.

  In addition, the log files contains this line:

  `dlopen: lib^CPLogCommServer.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory`

## Cause

In the `$CPDIR/registry/HKLM_registry.data` file, the section of the `libCPLogCommServer.so` file is corrupted - instead of specifying the name of the file "`libCPLogCommServer.so`", it contains some character(s).

Example of a wrong syntax:

```
:("{A8DF656A-3C26-49F4-82C0-80539CC3BC32}"
  :(InprocServer32
    :default(lib^CPLogCommServer.so)
:ReferenceCount("[4]2")
  )
```
