# sk182200 - "Identity Sharing: at least one server is currently disconnected" error for CloudGuard Network Security Cluster standby member

## Symptoms

- * "Identity Sharing: at least one server is currently disconnected" error in SmartConsole for CloudGuard Network Security Cluster standby member's Identity Sharing status.

* The active member in the CloudGuard Network Security Cluster can successfully establish identity sharing connections.

* VPN is not configured on the environment, and you did not perform the steps in [sk164915](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk164915) to exclude Identity Sharing services.

## Cause

Identity Sharing requires that clusters use the VIP to create sharing connections, but only the active CloudGuard Network Security Cluster member can route traffic over the VIP.

## Solution

No fix is required. This behavior is by design.

This is an inherent cosmetic issue caused by the cloud clustering design. The CloudGuard Network Security Cluster active member shares identities with the standby member, so there is no identity issue if there is a failover.
