# sk182136 - RAD process unexpectedly exits when a cluster failover or a Security Gateway reboot occurs

## Symptoms

- When a cluster failover or a Security Gateway reboot occurs, the `RAD` process unexpectedly exits and creates a core dump file in the `/var/log/dump/usermode/` directory.

## Cause

On the Security Gateway, in the `$FWDIR/conf/rad_conf.C` file, the value of the parameter "`max_flow`" is greaterthan the value of the parameter "`queue_max_capacity`".
