## Symptoms

- * SSH access is available through the Data Plane (dplane) in Scalable Platforms (Maestro and Chassis).

* The SSH task is on the Management Plane (mplane).

## Cause

The Sync \& Chassis Internal Network (CIN) interfaces are not part of the Management Plane and reside in the Data Plane. As a result, SSH must operate on the Data Plane, as well, because the Data Plane is a requirement for the movement between Security Group Members (SGMs) and the Orchestrator.
