# sk182073 - Domain Management Server (CMA) does not stop when running the "mdsstop" command

## Symptoms

- Domain does not stop when running `# mdsstop_customer <name_of_doamin>`. The only way to stop it is to end the processes manually.

This happens:

* After upgrading the Multi-Domain Management Server to R81.10 or R81.20.
* After importing the database in a newly installed Management Server.

## Cause

The `cprid` process locks the `mdsstop` process on the Domain Management Server.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:

2. [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92739) file from the Security Gateway / each Cluster Member involved in the case.
