# sk182067 - CloudGuard Network Central Licensing timeout with error: "Operation took too long, aborting"

## Symptoms

- * A timeout error occurs when you run license distribution on CloudGuard Network Security Gateways:  
  `
  Running distribution, please wait..................................................`  
  `
  Operation took too long, aborting...`

* The CloudGuard Network license quota does not reflect the number of licenses that the CloudGuard Network Security Gateways use.

* When you fetch the license from the Multi-Domain Management Server/Domain/Security Management Server for the CloudGuard Network Gateway, you get an incomplete response, for example:  
  `
  [Expert@HOSTNAME:0]# cprlic print CLOUD_GW_HOSTNAME -n -x`  
  ` 
  The following licenses are attached to CLOUD_GW_HOSTNAME`  
  `
  ==============================================`

* This postgres query returns results:  

  `
  psql_client cpm postgres -c "select fwset from dleobjectderef_data where name='`' and not deleted and dlesession=0;"

## Cause

The licenses are successfully attached to the Security Gateway but are not updated in the Management Server database.
