# sk182048 - Management Server / Log Server does not delete old log files based on the configured disk space threshold

## Symptoms

- The Management Server / Log Server does not delete old log files based on the configured disk space threshold in the Management Server / Log Server object \> "Logs" section \> "Storage" page.

For example, the threshold "`When disk space is below`" was configured to "40%", but the server does not delete old files when the available disk space is below 40%.

## Cause

In SmartConsole, in the field "`When disk space is below`", it is possible to configure a greater value than the maximum hard-coded limit of 25% of the disk space, after which the Management Server must start to delete old files.
