## Symptoms

- IPv6 addresses are missing after running **Get Topology**.

## Cause

The **Get Topology** operation filters out network interfaces whose IPv6 addresses begin with "fe80". This is because IPv6 addresses with the prefix "fe80" are non-routable, meaning they can only be used for communication within the local network.
