# sk181985 - Error when updating DHS Anti-Malware signatures from a local Endpoint Server on Endpoint Security Client DHS E87.40  to E88.10 (included)

## Symptoms

- Update of Anti-Malware DHS signatures from a local Endpoint Server on Endpoint Security Client DHS E87.50 and higher fails.

## Cause

Starting from E87.40 to to E88.10 (with management server R81 and higher), DHS version of Endpoint Security Client, a new way of incremental Anti-Malware signature updates is implemented, which allows to download only the delta signatures, saving network bandwidth.  
Supported versions of Endpoint Security local servers are unable to provide this new way of update.
