# sk181922 - Monitord daemon causes high CPU on Quantum after 388 days, "Time shift detected!!!" in /var/log/messages

## Symptoms

- * Monitord daemon causes high CPU utilization (95-100%) on a device with uptime over 388 days.

* */var/log/messages* contain this line:

  `monitord[pid]: Time shift detected !!!`

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
