# sk181899 - AD Query does not work on the Identity Awareness Gateway

## Symptoms

- * Identity Awareness configuration based on the AD Query does not work.

* The "`adlog a dc`" command on the Identity Awareness Gateway returns:

  `Adlog is not enabled, therefore cannot display domain controllers status`
* The '`test_ad_connectivity`' tool ([sk100406](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk100406)) on the Identity Awareness Gateway shows these lines in the `$FWDIR/log/test_ad_connectivity.elg` file:

  `[<PID> <TID>]@<HostName>[<Timestampe>] [ADLOG_SCHEMA (TD::Events)] ADLOG::SchemaManager::configureViaOverrideConfigFile: configuration file at: /opt/CPsuite-R81.10/fw1/conf/ad_log_override.C`  
  `
  [<PID> <TID>]@<HostName>[<Timestampe>] [ADLOG_SCHEMA (TD::Important)] ADLOG::SchemaManager::configureViaOverrideConfigFile: Override file says 1 to override`  
  `
  [<PID> <TID>]@<HostName>[<Timestampe>] [ADLOG_SCHEMA (TD::Critical)] ADLOG::SchemaManager::configureViaOverrideConfigFile: Override file - NO DOMAINS!!!`  
  `
  [<PID> <TID>]@<HostName>[<Timestampe>] [ADLOG_SCHEMA (TD::Critical)] ADLOG::SchemaManager::reconf: configured via an override file`  
  `
  [<PID> <TID>]@<HostName>[<Timestampe>] [ADLOG (TD::Critical)] ADLOG::AdLogExtractor::reconf: schema reconf failed, setting feature to be disabled`

## Cause

Incorrect configuration in the `$FWDIR/conf/ad_log_override.C` file on the Identity Awareness Gateway (incorrect settings were configured with the '`adlogconfig`' command).
