## Symptoms

- * The commands "`asg_if`" and "`asg if`" fail with this error:  

      child process exited abnormally
          while executing

      (file "/opt/CPsmo-R81.10/bin/asg_if" line YYYY)

* The file *$FWDIR/log/fwk.elg* contains logs for missing interfaces:  

      FW-1: Warning: Interface ethXX/bondXX is defined but not currently present

## Cause

The topology of the Security Gateway object in SmartConsole lists one or more interfaces which are not configured in the Security Group.
