# sk181858 - "page not secured" error after importing a third-party CA certificate on a single gateway or cluster

## Symptoms

- * The GAIA WebUI displays a "page not secured" error after importing a third-party CA (Certificate Authority) certificate.
* The multi-portal feature is not enabled as per [sk97648](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk97648).
* The **UserCheck for Active Blade** in the **UserCheck** tab is disabled.
* The VPND process is not running.

## Cause

When you uncheck the **Enable UserCheck for active blades** option in the SmartConsole for the specific Cluster/Gateway object, it means that the multi-portal feature is disabled. Consequently, this leads to the non-initiation of VPN (Virtual Private Network) Directories (VPND).

## Solution

1. Connect to the Smart Console.
2. Access the object linked to the cluster encountering the issues.
3. Generate and install a third-party certificate when working without Multi-Portal per Scenario 2 in [sk97648](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk97648) .
4. Enable one of the Multi-Portal blades and use the same certificate there.
