# sk181812 - A cluster interface appears in the VRRP Master state on both VRRP cluster members

## Symptoms

- * A cluster interface appears in the VRRP "Master" state on both VRRP cluster members.

* Output of the "`cphaprob -a if`" command on the VRRP cluster members does not show the problematic interface.

* The cluster object in SmartConsole contains the problematic interface on the "Network Management" page.

## Cause

In the reported case, the issue occurred for one of the VLAN interfaces configured on top of a Bond interface.

Examination of the cluster object on the cluster members showed that the cluster object does not contain the problematic interface.

Most probably, the problematic interface was added manually in SmartConsole in the cluster object on the "Network Management" page, instead of using the "Get Interfaces" button.
