## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security Client Tray Icon disappeared after upgrading to E87.31
* Endpoint Security Client Tray Icon does not start when running cptrayui.exe
* If webui.log file exists - it will probably have "ZDxInit failed" in it.
* If webui.log doesn't exist - the file "EventLog-Application.StdOut.txt" will probably contain: "Application : cptrayWUI.exe" and "System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException"

## Cause

The UI is searching for ZDx.dll and because it was not located in Logic folder, the UI is searching for it in the environment variables paths.
The problem is that Microsoft's implementation of the search stops when it encounters an unreachable path, and hence the dll is not loaded and the app cannot communicate with other components.

## Solution

1. Click Start and type "system vari"
2. Click on "Edit The System Environment Variables"

3. A "System Properties" window will open, go the the "Advanced" tab, and then click on "Environment Variables"

4. Then you will have to double click "Path". Notice there are two of them:

For each one, go over the list and if there is a network path, make sure it is accessible (in file explorer for example).

If you can delete them (ask the admin for permission), then do so and reboot.
