## Symptoms

- * On a Maestro Security Group, when you connect to Gaia Portal through the Single Management Object's (SMO) IP address and change the configuration, this error might appear:

  "`An error occurred while applying action to several members. Please check the status bar history.`"
* The status bar history shows this error:

  "`Cloning configuration error. Error in acquiring buffer of member info (-1).`"

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [Check Point Quantum R82](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk181127)
* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R81.10/Default.htm) starting from Take 170

If you choose not to upgrade, there is a workaround.

**Workaround:** Use Gaia gClish on the SMO to change the configuration.
