# sk181664 - Harmony Endpoint Active Directory Scanner Organizational Unit does not show all devices and users from the Active Directory

## Symptoms

- The groups and organization unit imported by the AD Scanner does not match the actual AD structure.

## Cause

The Harmony Endpoint AD Scanner cannot enumerate large groups if the object name starts with **LDAPS://** .  

To determine if the machine you have configured to scan the AD is affected, check the *cpda* log for the following error.

**0x80005000** indicates **E_ADS_BAD_PATHNAME** error, which is returned by **AdsOpenObject** .   
The line before shows the object name starting with **LDAPS://**.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue - improved Endpoint Security Client package.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Endpoint Security Client is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect the [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk90445) file from the Endpoint Security Client involved in the case.
