# sk181653 - Harmony Endpoint Anti-Malware Blade appears off

## Symptoms

- * The Ant-Malware Blade status shows as OFF/inactive and it is impossible to re-enable the blade (repairing, turning off and on capabilities).
* CPInfo and the logs show that the Anti-Malware Blade as running.

## Cause

Issue occurs because the Threat Emulation Blade crashes during a scan.   
Normally (E1) , if Anti-Malware crashes, it starts again and sends the "Initializing" status.   
With E2, if Threat Emulation crashes, Anti-Malware does not send an "Initializing" message and thus the fields are not reset.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue - improved Endpoint Security Client package.

A Support Engineer will make sure the Endpoint Security Client is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect the [CPinfo](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk90445) file from the Endpoint Security Client involved in the case.
