# sk181632 - "Failed to synchronize peer '<CMA_Secondary>' - No license" during Domain synchronization

## Symptoms

- * The Multi-Domain view in SmartConsole shows these errors:  

  On the primary Domain Management Server:  

  "*Failed to synchronize peer '' - No license* "  

  On the secondary Domain Management Server:  

  "*No active server is present* "


  Note - The Primary and Secondary Multi-Domain Servers and Domains have the correct license and contract.

* The *$MDS_FWDIR/log/cpm.elg* file on the Primary Multi-Domain Server contains these errors:  

  `DATE TIME, PID INFO dleserver.internal.MgmtHaSvcRemoteImpl [qtp-1082290011-81938]: PeerSyncStatus{masterPeerId=null, peerId=2a3f7184-ec5d-433e-b399-00c9acf2a384, syncOperation=MANUAL_SYNC, syncOpResult=SYNC_ERROR, dbName='unknown', errorMsg='No license', validationResults=null}`  
  `DATE TIME, PID INFO internal.ha.MgmtHaSvcImpl [qtp-1082290011-81938]: async peer result for opId 50b225d3-8720-4bb6-af7a-ef330aa90b81 peer 2a3f7184-ec5d-433e-b399-00c9acf2a384: MANUAL_SYNC, SYNC_ERROR, No license, null for domain name '<CMA_Primary>' , id [2b7a37b2-a680-483f-a776-4aad1bc1284b]`  
  `DATE TIME, PID ERROR ha.fwm_handlers.AsyncFwmCallHandlerBase [SYNC_THREAD_81946]: peerId 2a3f7184-ec5d-433e-b399-00c9acf2a384 operation MANUAL_SYNC with opId 50b225d3-8720-4bb6-af7a-ef330aa90b81 failed: No license for domain 2b7a37b2-a680-483f-a776-4aad1bc1284b`
