## Symptoms

- CloudGuard Central Licenses are removed from the CloudGuard Central License pool on the Security Management and from the Security Gateways after upgrade to R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Take 26.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [**Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20**](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R81.20/Default.htm)**starting from Take 38**

<br />

**Note:**

* If you upgraded using the migrate_server utility (export DB \> Fresh install \> Import DB) then make sure to run the `$MDS_FWDIR/scripts/alignLicensesInDB.sh` script after importing the database.

* If you already upgraded to **R81.20 Take 26** , upgrading to Take 38 will not resolve the issue automatically. The licenses needs to be added to the Security Management / MDS using the instructions below.

  If you installed **Take 26** or choose not to upgrade, follow these steps:

  On the **Security Management Server** , use the **vsec_lic_cli** tool to resolve this problem.
  Run:
  1. `vsec_lic_cli add <license string>`
  2. `vsec_lic_cli distribute`

  <br />

  For the **Multi-Domain Server (MDS) HA environment** in the mds mode only (if you were using domain mode, use the Security Management Server under relevant domain/CMA), the license should be added to each MDS:
  1. Add the license to each MDS (primary and secondary) by running
     `cplic put <license string>`

  2. Distribute the licenses on each MDS server to all Security Gateways:
     `vsec_lic_cli distribute `
