# sk181499 - On-premises SMP Server does not send its logs to the configured Syslog Server

## Symptoms

- * After you do the instructions in [sk170162](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk170162 ) to upgrade from R77.20.87 to R81.10.xx, the on-premises SMP Server does not send its logs to the configured Syslog Server.

* You cannot delete the locked on-premises SMP Server through the CLI.

* After you disconnect, the on-premises SMP Server continues to be locked.

## Cause

As of June 2023, the Quantum Spark Management application in the Infinity Portal manages all SMP functions. There is no longer an on-premises SMP Portal.
