# sk181498 - Snapshot revert fails with "fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_20230111 Possibly non-existent device?"

## Symptoms

- Reverting from a snapshot returns the following:

## Cause

The name of the snapshot file was modified after it was created. It is not supported to change a snapshot filename after its creation.
