## Symptoms

- Cannot change the SNMP Agent version in Gaia Clish after configuring the SNMP Community name:

1. Configured the SNMP Agent version to "any":

   `set snmp agent-version any`
2. Configured the SNMP Community name:

   `set snmp community <Name> <Access>`
3. Configured the SNMP Agent version to "v3-Only":

   `set snmp agent-version v3-only`
4. The "`show configuration snmp`" command shows both SNMP Agent versions:

   `set snmp agent-version any`
   `
   set snmp community <Name> <Access>`
   `
   set snmp agent-version v3-Only`

## Cause

The SNMP community is relevant only for SNMP v1, v2, and v2c, and does not apply to SNMP v3.

While the SNMP community is configured, Gaia OS keeps the SNMP Agent version "any" in the database, but uses the SNMP Agent v3.
